Hmm, she told some whoppers during her speech or maybe it's monumental naivety? You'd think that those like her would be bored of their own irrelevance by now, but maybe they're hoping for the crowds of climate sinners to repent and flock to the church for guidance? Unstable ground indeed!

She is the one who in Cancune in Mexico, opened the jamboree (can't bring myself to say proceedings) with a prayer to an ancient Mayan god, so that set the level of scientific debate from the off. She also deserves an Oscar for her performances at being able to turn the tears of fear on like a tap, as no other actress can come close on that score!!!

Alan: no other actress? Well, a couple of weeks ago I saw King Lear at the National Theatre. Lear's daughter Goneril was played by Kate Fleetwood; she looked remarkably like Christiana Figueres. See this.

She was scary.

Tiny: bored maybe. But think of the large (untaxed) salary and benefits.
