Who is paying him to ask the questions?
A simple disclosure of his financial backers, who have helped him achieve such high political status, would prevent this turning into a Cash for Questions Scandal, that provided so much entertainment in the UK. I expect some politicians in the UK are still laughing about it now.

21st century: The catholic church is reunified, the pope restored as omnipotent head and God's only representative on earth, the sun is deemed to go around the earth and the pope declares that the earth is now flat.

I know mud wrestling is not politically correct, but the English speaking world does seem to be full of mud flinging stunts, by alarmists at the moment.
Is this because they have run out of science, or are they preparing to meet Mr Ug on his own terms, and extinguish any more of his flaming ideas?

Hello Ug, I hope you are finding the weather similar to what it was like when Josh drew your picture.
I have to say that the torch thing, has been very successful, but is causing a few people to have over heated arguments.
Weather terrible - Lesser Dryas warming my bad.
Ug invent wheel thing for cigar lighter that burn mammoth farts, but tar pits catch fire instead and temperature go up ten degrees .
Me catch hell from inlaws, think I go invent wedge to split atoms.

Given that any research at the Washington DC Smithsonian Institute takes place under fossil fueled electric lighting, it must be subject to strict rules admitting this fact in all publications. Their electricity bill approaches $4 million/yr and they have spent $100,000 on sub-metering to shift the costs to concessions and tenants in their buildings.

The Prophecy of the Popes (Latin: Prophetia Sancti Malachiae Archiepiscopi, de Summis Pontificibus) is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases in Latin which purport to predict the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Pope Celestine II. The alleged prophecies were first published by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion in 1595. Wion attributes the prophecies to Saint Malachy, a 12th‑century Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland.
Given the very accurate description of popes up to 1590 and lack of accuracy after that year, historians generally conclude that the alleged prophecies are a fabrication written shortly before they were published. The Roman Catholic Church also dismisses them as forgery.[1][2] The prophecies may have been created in an attempt to suggest that Cardinal Girolamo Simoncelli's bid for the papacy in the second conclave of 1590 was divinely ordained.
The prophecies conclude with a pope identified as "Peter the Roman", whose pontificate will allegedly bring the destruction of the city of Rome.[3]

According to the interpretation of the "Prophecy" current in the 60s the Anti-Christ ought to have been here some time about then. John XXIII was identified as "Pastor et Nauta" — supposedly the last before Peter II — because he was Patriarch of Venice (and therefore had to cross water to get to Rome!); then everyone went wild for that title for John-Paul II because a- he was a foreigner (which gives you an idea of how italo-centric the whole thing was) and b- on account of his predilection for swanning off round the world.
Of course if you're really looking for a Pastor et Nauta, Bergoglio would seem to fit the bill perfectly since he most certainly had to cross water to get to Rome and (according to some) appears to be hell bent — if you'll pardon the expression — on undermining Catholic teaching.
Not to mention involving himself in the global warming scam, the sort of course of action that his predecessors have very carefully managed to avoid.
Interesting times.

I admire Josh, but in the above cartoon I believe he missed an opportunity. By depicting a wheel cut from the trunk of a tree (think tree rings) and making Ug look a little more like Dr. Michael (Sueu) Mann, I would have inferred that Sueu was a direct descendant of Ug--maybe only one or two generations removed.
